20 kW Three-Phase High-Voltage Hybrid Inverter integrates four types of external interfaces for PV, high-voltage battery, power grid and loads. With built-in EMS (Energy Management System), ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) and multi-channel MPPT PV controllers, it creates an all-in-one solar-storage energy node and serves as the core device for medium-and-small-sized commercial & industrial as well as large-residential solar-storage systems.
On the PV side, multi-channel MPPT delivers maximum power point tracking to optimize PV power-generation efficiency in real time with varying solar irradiance and permits a certain ratio of PV over-sizing. The high-voltage battery interface is compatible with high-voltage lithium-ion battery packs to realize bidirectional charge-discharge control: surplus PV power is stored in batteries, and batteries supply power when solar generation is insufficient. The grid interface enables grid-tied interaction - excess power can be fed to the grid, and the grid can also recharge batteries when necessary. The load interface caters to power demands of both general loads and critical backup loads, covering daily power consumption and power-outage emergency scenarios.
As the unit's control core, the built-in EMS coordinates power flow among PV arrays, batteries, grid and loads. It supports multiple configurable operation strategies: self-consumption, surplus-to-grid feed-in, peak-valley arbitrage and backup power mode. It dynamically dispatches energy based on PV generation output, battery SOC, electricity price and actual load consumption, prioritizing the utilization of solar power to reduce mains electricity usage. Meanwhile, it monitors battery charge-discharge power as well as upper and lower SOC limits to prolong battery service life and allows user-defined time-based charge-discharge logic.
The integrated ATS unit achieves millisecond-level switching between grid-tied and off-grid emergency modes. In case of grid failure or blackout, ATS quickly disconnects the grid circuit and switches to off-grid solar-storage backup power supply. Once grid power is restored, it automatically reverts to grid-tied operation. This delivers UPS-grade backup performance for uninterrupted power supply to critical loads without an external transfer cabinet, reducing peripheral components and wiring complexity.
Multi-channel MPPT controllers manage PV strings independently. PV branches with different orientations or partial shading will not interfere with each other for higher overall generation revenue. Featuring a wide operating voltage range, the MPPT is compatible with mainstream high-voltage PV modules available on the market. The unit performs AC-DC bidirectional conversion. One single device fulfills multiple functions including PV rectification, bidirectional battery power conversion, grid-tied inversion, backup power supply and energy scheduling. It eliminates standalone controllers, external EMS and external ATS switches, simplifying system architecture and cutting hardware costs as well as installation and commissioning efforts.
The system supports local screen display and remote monitoring via Wi-Fi / Ethernet for real-time viewing of power flow, power generation data, battery status and operating modes. Selected models support parallel connection of multiple inverters for capacity expansion to suit larger-scale solar-storage projects. Equipped with a complete set of electrical protections including over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, over-temperature and anti-islanding protection, it is applicable to residential and small-scale commercial-industrial micro-grid scenarios.
