BNi-2 foil (often called amorphous solder foil or nickel-based solder) is an alloy material widely used in high-temperature vacuum soldering. It has the characteristics of low melting point, high strength and good oxidation resistance, making it an ideal choice for the aerospace, automotive industry and heat exchanger manufacturing.
Key features of BNi-2 foil
- Narrow melting point range: 970-1000℃, easy to control brazing temperature.
- Excellent fluidity: good melt wettability, suitable for filling fine gaps.
- High compatibility with base materials: can weld stainless steel, nickel-based high-temperature alloys, and cobalt-based alloys.
