NiTi nickel titanium shape memory alloy is a special metal material that has the ability to restore its shape after moderate heat treatment. It has the advantages of light weight, weak magnetism, high strength, fatigue resistance, high yield strength and elastic modulus. It can be shaped into spirals and grids at a high temperature of 5000 degrees. Production process,
1.Gas atomization method: This is a commonly used method for producing NiTi shape memory alloy powder. The molten NiTi alloy is atomized by a high-speed air flow, causing it to disperse into fine droplets, which then solidify into a powder during cooling. This method can produce powders with high sphericity and uniform particle size distribution.
2.Plasma rotating electrode method: The high temperature of the plasma is used to melt and throw out the rotating NiTi alloy electrode to form fine powder particles. The powder produced by this method has high purity and fine particle size, but the equipment cost is high.
